I've been a little MIA. Here's why

I've missed being in your inbox and I have a pretty good excuse, I promise.

I had a baby!

Before she arrived, I went a little crazy stocking our freezer. Dozens of meals: soups, proteins, breakfast stuff, one handed snacks, dump crockpot meals. Enough food to get us through those first few months without me having to think about dinner once.

And honestly, Reader. It worked. Completely. For months, meals were handled before the chaos of the day even started.

And then we ran out.

I realized fast how much I had been relying on that full freezer. Without it, 5pm felt impossible again. Touched out, behind on everything, staring at an empty fridge with no plan.

That's when it clicked. This freezer stocking thing wasn't just a pregnancy strategy. It needed to be my whole life strategy. Because the baby doesn't get less busy, she just gets a different kind of busy.

So I'm rebuilding the freezer stash and I can't do it fast enough. And this time I'm bringing you along.

That's what I want to share with you this year. The whole system, start to finish, so that 5pm stops feeling like a crisis.
